Senior Project Manager
Sofia, Bulgaria
Description
Apex Group is looking for a Senior Project Manager and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package, including the opportunity to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and directing technology and infrastructure projects and programmes for the company, depending on the demand within the portfolio.
Job specification
Manage and govern delivery across technology programs in alignment with agreed methodology
Set up steering boards, lead the meetings and provide status updates
Provide oversight and guidance to project managers assigned to projects in a programme
Monitoring the progress of project components to ensure the overall goals, schedules, budget, and benefits will be achieved
Ensure projects are organised and executed in a consistent manner
Manage external vendors to ensure they deliver to time and budget deliverables.
Lead the teams in developing Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services.
Skills Required:
A bachelor’s degree and an advanced degree in an IT-related field or MBA preferred
10 years of Project Management experience managing all phases of technology and infrastructure projects, preferably in a large global organisation
3 years managing large tech and infrastructure programmes
Experience and accreditation in waterfall and agile (SAFe, Scrum, APMP, PMI, Prince 2 or equivalents
Experience working on projects in the financial services industry (an advantage)
