SQL DATABASE SOFTWARE ENGINEER


Responsibilities for the role include:

- Lead end-to-end SQL development, from research and prototyping to implementation
- Optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and indexing for peak performance
- Identify and implement missing indexes to enhance database efficiency
- Analyze execution plans and long-running queries; recommend tuning strategies
- Partner with performance engineers to monitor and maintain system health


Expected skills, knowledge, and experience:

- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Informatics, (Software) Engineering, or other IT-relevant specialty;
- 5+ years of professional experience in Database Engineering roles
- MS SQL Server
- Extensive experience in database performance tuning and SQL query optimization
- Experience in performing database code, script, and package reviews
- Very good command of English (B2)
