Job Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as subject matter expert on Workday Procurement Functional Area including but not limited to Requisitions, Purchase orders, Supplier Contracts and Supplier Management.
Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
Maintain master data values in Workday.
Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen.
Assess impact on Workday Procurement Functional area based on new releases and recommend changes.
Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Procurement Workday.
Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
Apply technical knowledge to determine solutions and solve complex problems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have previous Workday experience and a demonstrated understanding of Workday configurations.
Understanding of financial applications (i.e., General Ledger, Consolidation and Business Intelligence systems).
The ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with both technical and end users.
Ability to own and drive efforts to standardize, optimize, and simplify processes and technical solutions.
Previous functional experience, including finance operations, procurement and financial data management is highly desired.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive by nature and a great team player.
