Our client is a leading national company in supplying high tech medical devices and equipment, based in Sofia. Due to development of its services’ portfolio, they are currently looking for a STRATEGIC SOURCING MANAGER to join the team and be responsible for building partnerships and integrating suppliers with the product portfolio of the company. He/She proactively seek new suppliers and lead supplier development efforts, partnering with our sales and marketing teams to ensure an adequate portfolio and supply base that will meet current and future customer needs.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing multiple aspects of the Strategic Sourcing relationship with selected suppliers (high spend, high complexity, multi-category scope), including financial performance and budget compliance, sourcing strategy development and implementation, negotiation of Supply Agreements and other legal documents and collaboration across numerous internal functions to drive supplier strategy in alignment with overall organizational goals.
Responsibilities:

Leads continuous improvement of company’s supply base that provides competitive advantage in technology, quality, value/cost, and delivery;
Assists with the development and implementation of strategies and processes for reducing supply expense;
Leads a cross functional team from Sales, Marketing and Logistics;
Maintains strong partnerships with Strategic suppliers;
Assesses the market in respective commodity products and special devices;
Identifies recurring trends and key opportunities for vendor or internal improvements;
Partners in supplier selection and developing supply chains for new product groups;
Monitors and manages supplier performance;
Negotiates with suppliers (supply terms, products, prices, geographical coverage).


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Related Field;
Minimum 3 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Medical Devices;
Good written and oral command of English;
Good interpersonal, project management and presentation skills with the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas and to summarize complex issues;
Highly organized self-starter;
Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems and use good judgment;
Technical and detail-oriented.
