Our client is a leading international manufacturer of sporting goods, part of a German group of companies with a significant global presence. They have а production site in Bulgaria (200+) and for their growing team, they are looking for an experienced:
Maintenance & Automation Manager
Responsibilities
• Manages the activities for quality assurance and the continuous production process of machines, equipment, buildings and adjacent areas.
• Plans the monthly budget for the purchase of the necessary spare parts for maintenance, purchase of materials, equipment or facilities to maintain an optimal work process;
• Responsible for ensuring accurate coordination, research and determination of the company's machines needs;
• Performs control and regular inventory of all fixed assets;
• Performs service control by external service providers, reviews and offers alternative providers in order to optimize costs and improve services;
• Plans, organizes and controls the planned for annual, monthly and daily repairs;
• Leads and performs automation of production processes;
• Participates in the analysis of the reasons for the poor-quality production and proposes measures for their elimination;
• Responsible for solving everyday issues and complex problems in the field of maintenance and production;
• Develops and implements a system of key performance indicators (KPIs)(OEE) related to managing and ensuring the processes in the departments for which he is directly responsible;
• Prepares regular reports on the implementation of his activities to the Executive Director;
• Controls the selection, training and work of staff;
Requirements:
• Education in the field of engineering;
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a maintenance & production automation management function;
• Experience in working with an ERP system
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially EXCEL
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Result-oriented attitude
• Fluent English
