Glatec Ltd. is an international company in the field of functional hinges, which is located in an industrial zone near the city of Plovdiv. The company successfully develops its production in the direction of automation and digitalization, relying on its long traditions and experience.



For its Tooling Department, the company is looking for: Tool Designer



Main responsibilities:



· Design of non –standard tooling based on customer requirements;

Die and Injection Moulding tooling,
Milling and assembly devices,
· Creates the necessary construction documentation for the manufacture of tooling, fixtures and other constructions related to production. This documentation is in accordance with the assignment;

· Execute design work with attention to detail;

· Meet schedules and maintain quality standards;

· Participate in projects with regards to new product development and introduction;

· Identify components that are required to be sourced externally and co-ordinate demands with purchasing;

· Modify existing tool designs and document changes;

· Ensure that project spending remains within budgeted guidelines;

· Actively maintains and improves knowledge of tool design, machines, engineering standards, procedures and new technology;

· Participates in staff training;



Main requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;

· Proven experience at the position – at least 3 years;

· Good level of English – written and spoken

· Analytical thinker, detail oriented and self-motivated

· Has a good knowledge of various materials (tool steels )

· Has a good knowledge of modern production processes;

· Excellent ability to plan and manage time, processes and resources;
