Our client Sitel, a leading international BPO company, is now expanding to Varna. The company will be opening its first Shared Service Center in the beginning of 2015. We are currently looking for:
IT Onsite Engineer
Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the Ticket Queue for the respective site.
- Performing procative maintinance and administrative daily tasks.
- To be locally responsible for all IT support, manages all IT issues onsite accordingly.
- Support and provide “backup” to other onsite engineers in EMEA when required to deliver projects and new business implementations.
- Assist the Onsite Engineering Lead and NEMEA Onsite Manager with any bespoke projects such as asset management and standardisation or remediation tasks.
- Full responsibility for the operational maintenance of systems and services across the Site IT environment, providing day to day operational and technical support.
- Receiving escalations from the Service Desk and Onsite engineers, providing remote 2nd/3rd line technical support and assistance for Microsoft databases and servers to internal and external customers
- Ensure formal procedures are followed, SLA’s met and high levels of internal/external customer service met with timely and appropriate communication
- Identify incident trends and methods of improvement and ensure availability, performance and integrity of technology, producing appropriate support.
Qualification:
Previous Experience:
- At least ‘A level’ or equivalent. ITIL Foundation desirable. MCSE / MCITP / MCTS desirable.
- Ideally at least 3 years’ experience within an end customer Microsoft environment (WINTEL) supporting both locally and remotely.
- Previous call centre experience very advantageous. Working within an ITIL structured environment.
- Experience of establishing & maintaining highly standardised process environments across diverse geographies & languages. Understanding & experience of the role of ITIL within IT an absolute must.
Skills:
- Proven IT skills in the data field within a service-orientated attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Knowledge in the following technologies:
- Windows - Active Directory.
- VERITAS Backup Exec and Netbackup.
- Managing Anti-Virus clients and Microsoft patches (WSUS).
- Dell / HP Server Hardware. Working with HP technologies. SAN. Citrix.
- Microsoft -Outlook editions support.
- Office automation products. WINS, DHCP.
- Windows server 2000 and 2003, IIS server, NT4 server, Desktop.
- WDS / Microsoft SMS (SCCM).
- Windows 7 experience beneficial as is any Cisco and Avaya support experience.
