For one of our clients we are currently looking for a:
Systems Analyst
The Systems Analyst designs, implements & configures information systems or system components, leveraging product capabilities to create an optimal solution implementation. That person analyses solution requirements and translates them into specific system requirements and designs. The Systems Analyst works within a knowledge area at a detailed and focused level within the context of a defined overarching solution, liaising with end users, system experts and peers in order to meet defined business requirements
Responsibilities:
• Gather, analyse and document system requirements within the context of defined solution designs.
• Understand cross application dependencies and evaluate their impact.
• Communicate system requirements and technical solution to peers and customer when required, explaining the details of the technical solution and configuration and their impact on business processes and/or operations.
• Participate in solution reviews, providing technical perspective and support.
• Configure the solution using relevant tools or system applications based on the solution definition and business & technical requirements.
• Create, execute, and maintain accurate and detailed test plans, when applicable.
• Support the preparation of functional and technical training.
Requirements:
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases – Oracle is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of UNIX-based operation systems.
• Practical experience in system configuration – preferred.
• Fluency in English.
