For our client - a multinational company providing professional financial, legal and HR services on a global scale- we are looking for:

Network Support Engineer L2

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily checks on the local area networks and telecom infrastructure of the organization.
• Handling 1st and 2nd line support calls on infrastructure related incidents.
• Assisting in regular review, optimization and monitoring of the networks.
• Communicating and working with involved partners to resolve incidents and problems.
• Administering incidents and changes.
• Оffload Third (L3) Line Support by dealing with problems, proactively ensure operational health of the IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of - and experience with: ·Network switches (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Dell) and VPN.
• Good understanding of the various hardware components that form the network such as servers, switches, UPS’s, IP telephony, cabling and routers.
• Good knowledge of the current versions of the Windows Server OS and Linux.
• Have excellent understanding of network monitoring tools, preferably Cacti, MRTG, Nagios and other monitoring tools
• Routers, firewalls and proxy configurations, security solution awareness.
