We are currently looking for an Operations Manager for our client - a marketing company offering technology-based marketing solutions. This includes both managing and running outsourced campaigns, as well as providing consulting services
Role description:
The Operations Manager is accountable for the overall performance of a growing Sofia, Bulgaria subsidiary, and liaising with US-based leadership to ensure the delivery of quality services. This role’s primary responsibilities are focused on team leadership and mentorship, project delivery, vendor management and planning.
Main responsibilities:
• Lead a team of reporting and data management professionals as they execute day-to-day project-specific tasks.
• Provide guidance to the team in areas like career management and task execution.
• Evaluate the performance of each team member as part of a broader performance management process (including training recommendations, salary change recommendations and bonus input).
• Hire and on-board team members based on project needs and cultivate a team culture.
• Ensure team utilization, driving for on-time, on-quality, on-budget delivery.
• Manage vendor relationships, including HR, Finance, Recruiting and Facilities vendors, as well as identify potential partners and vendors to fulfill needs as they arise.
Required competencies:
• Previous people, process and project management experience.
• Ability to effectively manage a team-oriented outsourced operating structure.
• Ability to work under stress and to find the balance point in the liaison between international clients, US management and local team members.
• Willingness to put in extra hours of work when needed.
• Interest in Marketing and Sales is a plus.
