For one of our clients we are currently looking for a: Software Engineer – Windows Phone Applications

Your role:
• Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop features in the company’s Windows Phone Mobile Application.
• Design and implement interface, workflow, IO etc., as regards with use cases and stories, prepared in collaboration with the Product Management team and UX team.
• Design and implementation of Unit and Automation Tests and other test primitives and subsystems, ensuring full testability of the developed mobile application.
• Rendering of media data, ie. audio and video playback and/or transcoding.
• Design and implementation of the client side of the server protocols and services, ensuring effective communication with the server, which provides data (including media data) for the application.
• Providing knowledge to the team regarding mobile applications implementations, platforms and architecture. You will be the main source for Windows Phone applications knowledge, teaching and mentoring for any issue in regards with the Windows Phone development platform.

Your Profile:
• 2+ years of professional experience designing, developing and debugging native applications for Windows Phone platform.
• Excellent knowledge of C# / XAML / .NET.
• Experience with development of client/server applications for mobile clients.
• Understanding of the Mobile Applications Architecture and application design principles.
• Understanding the principles of object oriented design.
• Experience with multithreading.
• Understanding of version control systems, esp. Git and/or TFS.
• Nice to have experience with one or more of the following:
- Designing, developing and debugging native mobile applications for one of the major platforms (iOS or Android).
- JavaScript and HTML5/CSS3.
- Media formats, such as H.264/MPEG-4, MPEG-2, AAC.
- Network protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, and/or UDP.
- Writing unit or automation tests, both generic and in particular for mobile platforms.
- Multiplatform server development, e.g. both Windows and Linux.
