The Position:

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a professional Sales Manager at our clients five-star hotel, events & spa resort on the beautiful Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.
You will report directly to the General Manager, giving you the opportunity to engage and impact the operation, the centrepiece of this hotel.

The Hotel:

This breath-taking hotel, part of an international hotel brand, is well-positioned at a stunningly beautiful, lagoon-side location and offers 300+ decadent bedrooms & suites; innovative restaurants and bars including a pool/bar; world-class health club and spa; professional conference, wedding & events suites.
Company business mix includes corporate dynamic & flat; leisure national, international & group; conference & wedding, incentive & event.

The Challenge:

To take the business to the next level with an all-encompassing strategy that envelopes all areas of the business and takes advantage of the opportunities available.
To have a strategic focus, you will also have objectives to drive the hotel revenue by effectively selling the hotel within the local area and to national and international markets.
To be responsible for the development and implementation of the hotel sales plan, with the hotel management, to encompass direct sales calls; telesales; research; appointment making and trading; promotional campaigns; client familiarisation visits; contract negotiation.
To drive and coordinate all sales activity to maximise revenue from existing accounts at hotel, national and international level.
To investigate new areas of business in terms of market development into new territories and market segments to quantifiable targets.
To regularly meet with the hotel general manager to communicate customers’ feedback; sales information; competitor knowledge; pricing strategies; any other influences that may affect the business.
To liaise with all departments necessary to maximise revenue and communicate any sales related information.
To manage the sales and promotion of the conference, events and meeting suites.
To provide periodic reports of local accounts; sales activities; competitor analysis; and any other relevant information required showing the performance of the hotel.

The Requirements:

Will be a proactive-manager and be able to lead from the front, with direction, enthusiasm and professionalism.
Will have a minimum of one years’ experience in a similar position within a four or five-star hotel or equivalent background.
Will have a strong commercial outlook on sales and revenue and be very focused and goals driven.
Will have strong written and verbal communication skills in English: Any other languages would be beneficial.
Will have excellent skills set incorporating sales; customer care; coaching & mentoring; account management; negotiation; presentation; influencing.
Will have a willingness to travel, presenting to prospective partner organisations; meetings; entertaining clients; attending trade fairs/shows.
