Commercial Fleet is a B2B business focusing on selling fuels and services via euroShell Card. Commercial Fleet delivers a significant part of Shell Retail’s overall fuel volume.

We are looking for a highly motivated person with sales background for the position of:

Home Based Telemarketing Agent, Commercial Fleet

Purpose:

Develop and grow a selective portfolio of high-value customers to deliver agreed margins and volumes using mainly telephone selling and negotiating skills.
The agent will be expected to contribute to CF growth aspirations through significant focus on the development of new business. In addition, the agent will cultivate partnership-based relationships with customers based on a clear understanding of Commercial Fleet Customer Value Proposition, and knowledge of customer needs in order to deliver maximum value for both Shell and the customer.

Accountabilities:

• Develop a clear and articulated operational plan to deliver volume, margins and agreed growth targets,
• Focus on acquisition of new business in line with CF strategy,
• Proactively plan and execute customer structured calls to maximize customer facing time and to provide a high level of service with a focus on retaining/expanding the newly built business relationships,
• Carry out price negotiations with prospective customers, preparing quotations and proposals and agree on all operational requirements including price, contract and payment terms,
• Understand customer business models, value drivers, challenges and opportunities to tailor offers and services to capture their businesses;

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Relevant University or college education,
• Relevant sales experience (min 1 year) preferably in B2B, experience in telephone selling is an advantage,
• Proven track record of competence in negotiation and dealing with external partners,
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to manage relationships at all levels,
• Strong communication skills,
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision in a challenging environment,
• Very good knowledge of English (both verbal and written),
• Strong IT literacy on all MS Office programs;
