Job Duties:
Ensure the highest quality product is obtained with the best on time delivery and best unit cost
Track, plan and manage purchase price variances, production plans, stock availability, and order fulfilment
Evaluate parts and assemblies to identify critical components and ensure multiple vendors
Manage and initiate strategic sourcing projects, stocking and supplier agreements
Interface with Product Engineering when needed to ensure an accurate and timely implementation of new parts, revisions, or other tasks required to source the item
Resolve all MRP issues to replace, return, and or repair parts from assigned supplier sources

Supplier Payment Term Improvements

An ideal candidate must have:
Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing and planning electronic components and assemblies
BA/BS degree in Logistics, Economics, or related technical/engineering field
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
Experience with an ERP system
Performance & result oriented; Analytical and structured personality;
