General rules and responsibilities of merchandisers and assistant merchandisersGerman/English language , driving everywhere in the country and abroad
1. Attracting customers from the entrusted circle –
- keeping correspondence about new styles, prices, and suppliers;
- in the languages and form preferred by the customer;
- regular phone calls with the customer- to find out what one is looking for and what one needs at any given moment;
Answering customer’s questions within 24 hours;
When the supplier has not answered yet- constant reminder with e-mail preferably;
- detailed and adequate style description- Power Point presentations, browsing the web for photos, inspiringизчерпателно и адекватно описание на моделите - Power Point презентации ,inciting suppliers for creativity and creating collections;
gathering collection and sending pictures and samples to the customers- at least twice a month;
assessing and monitoring the cost range of every supplier;
comparative analysis of the supplier- price range, delays, capacity and potential;
correct labeling- according to customer’s requirements and information- when which sample to be sent and why;
following customers reaction- is one received the sample- waiting for comment;
approving sample and reaching the desired order;
Meeting with customers:
scheduling their program
arranging hotel
preparing suppliers’ collections and customer’s target group
viewing customer’s catalogue- preparing for pricing and styling;
welcoming and accommodating the customers;
traveling to the suppliers;
leading the visits – not only translating the talks, but also leading discussions, fixing the prices, describing the styles and etc.
writing down all points from the meetings- leading to memo for the supplier- what, when and how to follow the customer’s descriptions;
creating nice atmosphere for the customer during one’s whole visit ;
3) Creating folders – files with ordered styles; strictly tracking the supplier; checking the orders in B2B;
- Photo of the style
- Map of the folder
- Information for the QC department- measurement table;
- Sending the correct samples in the right size, colour and composition;
- Following for the EAN codes;
- Cd charts- checking, and correspondence;
- Specification for the supplier- if needed;
- Accessory card- checking and approval;
- Keeping the order’s delivery dates;
- In case of problems- При проблеми –notifying the customers or the disposition;
- Assistance with the invoice, packing lists and other documents;
- Notifying the QC if there are problems PRIOR the expedition;
- After good quality and expedition- notifying he customers for the delivered goods;
- Adequate correspondence with the customer and the suppliers;
- Monitoring the orders;
- Daily “Problem solving” ;
- Timely reporting in case of problems, for faster solutions
- Filling the right codes in B2B- textile,

- Keeping statistics for delays, clients mails and suppliers- fines for delays- once every 3 months;
- Helping in case of problems with the quality;
- Replacing of absent colleague- in need;
