Our client is a leader in the domestic car hire market both in short and long term rentals - a result of their intensive investment program, high quality services provided, including well trained staff, perfectly maintained vehicles and a strong international presence.

To help them meet the growing customer demand we are now looking for a

CAR DEALER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Car Dealer will include responsibility for the development of a defined sales sector in overall sales and profitable growth.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• As a Car Dealer you will develop and maintain a sales sector to meet and exceed profitability goals as defined by the strategic plan, annual sales budget, and desired levels of market penetration for overall volume, margin, and product line
• Maintain outstanding levels of customer service
• Keep customer current with updated pricing information
• Provide marketing and promotional designs to expand sales
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date files relating to customer contact, details, and promotional activities
• Assess and monitor competition in territory identify potential and/or lost business
• Determine customer requirements for new products and services, and introduce new products to on-going accounts
• Develop additional and new profitable business in specified markets, territories, and/or customer segments through inbound or outbound telephone calls to customers
• Process accepted orders, maintain accurate daily records, and provide necessary follow-up
• Maintain an in depth knowledge of company products
• Assist with marketing and promotional designs

QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 years related industry sales or customer service experience with demonstrated profitable sales experience
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Advanced knowledge of the related industry with application, technical, managerial experience a plus
• Ability to make key customer decisions
• Attention to detail and deadlines
• Good listener and strong written and verbal communicator
• Entrepreneurial, goal driven, action oriented, self-motivated
• Able to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive and open minded manner
• Well organized and represent the company in a professional manner
• Demonstrated ability to build positive business relationships
• Ability to project a positive image to customers
• Related degree is a plus
