When you join our team, you will:
Lead and mentor an operational 24/7 team of transport coordinators; maintain, develop and efficiently utilize their skills in required competences such as customer service, problem resolution, coordination and workload management.
Monitor service levels and fulfil performance targets; elaborate on issues and develop sustainable measures with internal and external counterparts; react adequately to ad hoc requirements.
Maintain customer relations through operational excellence, regular exchanges and a proactive approach to service development.
Implement, optimize and stabilize new projects and initiatives.
Contribute to the achievement of overall department targets and strategic goals.
Stimulate staff motivation and ensure a productive, open working environment.
Support the development and monitoring of strategic goals; reflect on challenges and actively participate in their sustainable resolution.

You match our need, if you have:
University degree in Economics, Logistics, Procurement or relevant job experience.
Leadership experience or relevant social competences.
Experience in air freight and road transportation is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of the global logistics market is an advantage.
Ability to master complexity.
Good analytical skills, advanced computer skills.
Excellent command of English written and spoken, German is an advantage.
Good understanding of the complex relationships within the Lufthansa group.
