to take the position of

Laboratory Technician Construction Chemicals

Responsibilities:

Performing physical-mechanical determination of raw materials (cement, aggregate, concrete) in BASF laboratory and at the location of clients;
Conducting studies on concrete with various formulations of additives in clients laboratory, in accordance with internal projects agreed and providing technical support to the assigned clients in accordance with the Internal Procedure for performing and monitoring the testing;
Cooperation with the sales organization to promote products that will meet the real technical and commercial needs of clients;
Conducting regular visits and maintaining contact to clients in order to receive technical support requests and/or to prevent possible customer dissatisfaction;
Optimization of costs and/or improving the characteristics of fresh and hardened concrete through preliminary testing of concrete with various types of additives/aggregates/cements for clients directly assigned by the Sales Dept;
Planning and organizing the performance of laboratory tests and testing for clients.

Requirements:

University Technical Degree (Civil Engineering);
Relevant experience will considered a strong advantage;
Self-directed, detail and customer oriented;
Very good organizational and communicational skills;
Fluency in English;
Driving license B category; Readiness to frequent travel;
PC skills.
