Senior Procurement Specialist with English (late shift)

Purpose of the role:

* Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible to deliver operational procurement services to GfK legal entities by ensuring effective and efficient performance of operational procure-to-pay processes and tasks, supported by procurement systems
* Optimizes procurement of goods, services and materials creating a basis for maintaining a high level of delivery capability and reliability for project and functional requirements to be fulfilled

Main responsibilities:

- Accountable for the operational procurement processes from purchase requisitions/ Shopping Carts (SC) to order confirmation
- Transfers internal purchase requests into Purchase Orders (PO) by the use of procurement systems in order to guarantee timely availability of goods, services and materials
- Traces the ordering and delivery processes of suppliers and takes corrective expediting actions
- Actively contributes to cooperation with all other stakeholder functions / partners
- Ensures compliance in accordance to Procurement Guideline, along mandatory tools and in accordance to internal approval guideline(s)
- Responsible for catalogue management execution and improvement
- Processes requests on creation and continuous maintenance of new or change of existing supplier master data
* Working hours: 14:00 - 23:00, Monday to Friday

Required skills and experience:

- 3+ years of relevant procurement experience in an international company, preferably within a SSC environment
- University degree (Business Administration, Accounting or related field)
- Ability to cooperate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Extensive operative purchasing skills
- Very good understanding of customer’s services landscape
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, and shift priorities quickly as required
- Excellent level of English language
- SAP-SRM/MM and Navision experience is essential
- Full proficiency with MS Office suite
