The Role
The Sales Engineer is a field-based role in Bulgaria working closely with existing and new customers to contribute to the growth of the current defined territory and customer base by utilising their own unique skill set.


Key Responsibilities
 Grow business with existing customers
 Develop existing customer into major / key accounts
 Identify process botle necks on customers’ site locations, look for possible causes and propose working solutions.
 Provide BEP solutions with aligning the performance of Weir products with customer requirements and optimise customers’ plants.
 Providing solutions and improvements that will close us to our customers to recognize us as business partner and not sole equipment supplier.
 Support sales internaly and customers externaly in solving process botle necks, increase recoveries and operational cost reduction.
 Identifying, selecting and effectively engineering process improvement projects from concept through commercialization and commissioning of solutions at customers mines - ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
 Building the flowsheets with the mass and water balances.
 Simulation capability in mill circuit including the equipment of SAG, Ball mill, Cyclone, Screen etc.
 In coordination with IntSol team to build GA and P&ID’s based upon flow sheet solutions and customer specific requirements.
 Being involved site surveys to ensure the solutions are compatible with existing customer plant and equipment.
 Work closely with other sales and service team collegues and support Identification of the opportunities and deliver Weir Solution approach and joint visits to customers.
 Ensure maximization of all opportunities and deadlines and customers’ expectations are met.
 Ensure that the business is developed with a focus on working safely and ethically.
 Provide regular reports of actual performance and forecasts of future performance specific to the solution opportunities/projects and activity.
 Providing technical solutions support to customers in Bulgaria.
 Providing technical solutions support and expertise for outside sales force, consultants and customers.
 Make a solution report(s) of the external activities.
 Actively support to carry out commissioning of new equipment supplied.
 Assisting and internaly/externaly carrying out with customer complaints.
 Work closely with sales team and support identify market opportunities and potential customers and develop these relationships to deliver on sales/aftermarket objectives.
 Proposing/support/manage equipment and process trials effectively in order to ensure maximum success rate.
 Prepare reports detailing technical problems to initiate necessary corrective product modifications and/or recommended manufacturing process changes.
 Learn and share inter-company best practices.
 Follow and comply with all WME and VCA safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards and Company policies, procedures, and programs.
 Follow and secure to work in a manner that ensures the safety of themselves and others.
 Promote and demonstrate compliance to company safety procedures and legal obligations.


Experience and Qualifications
 Proven Track record in a technical Sales Role
 Have a good working knowledge of the key related industries including sand and gravel, Mineral processing and industrial applications
 Experience of Face to Face customer visits
 Strong communications skills
 Can develop long-term customer relationships
 I.T literate
 Basic contractual knowledge and negotiations skills
 Be ready to work within a sales team
 Preferably have knowledge and service background of the Minerals processing technology and at the mining industry
 Relevant technical qualification or experience in the application-based sales
 Full Driving Licence
