For them we are looking to recruit a highly motivated person for the position of:

Sales Performance Analyst

Purpose
The NFR performance analyst will provide commercial steer to the NFR department. The candidate will manage the end to end value chain on how income is optimized in the NFR team and will manage the commercial and marketing relationship with other Shell departments and 3rd Parties. The role combines elements of supply chain, category management, marketing, administration, analysis, pricing, project work, and operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

1. Data and Analytics
a. NFR business performance planning - T&R, Business Plan, Active Selling etc.
b. NFR business performance tracking and reports, ROIs, insights generations, that are influencing business decisions by using Shell tools or creates new ones
c. Total shop plan and space allocation – Shop formats
d. OPEX budget control
2. NFR Pricing - local strategy creation and execution
3. Local POS (Nexus) Management

Accountabilities

Data and Analytics:
• Build data reports on range and make analysis of space allocation and assortment performance
• Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports for Category Managers, operations and other functions
• Develop and invest in data and analytics, including a single data-set for all relevant data and AI algorithms that optimise pricing and business complex data analysis
• Own NFR product master file
• Support building proper RSTS connections and ensure data there is correct
• Effectiveness of promotions are analysed and processed to inform future decisions and experiments.
• Manage effectively OPEX budget to maximize value for money ratio
• Monitor competitor activities and - propose competitive response using inventory of retail marketing communications and as agreed by CR category managers (including GRT reports, market share reports).
• Shop Formats development and management (including space management, profitability)

NFR Pricing - local strategy creation and execution
• Set clear pricing strategy and deliver annual sales and margin improvements established with clear financial targets delivered through pricing. Pricing strategy needs to be defined, including known value items, pricing zones and ladders.
• Define pricing process (scheme/calendar), incl. clear roles & responsibilities within NFR organisation and/or vendors
• Set up of measurement and reporting of pricing KPIs in place and processed to inform future pricing decisions. Performance KPIs are defined and reported and reviewed monthly.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate following skills and requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree with minimum of 3 years relevant experience (preferable within FMCG)
• Robust analytical skills with a rounded consumer led mindset and understanding of the customer and/or retailer
• Result driven mindset;
• Strong relationship management skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Experience in contract management and Supply Chain management would be beneficial
• Commerce Graduate or other appropriate post-graduate professional qualification
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, power-point, word)
• Fluency in English
