We are currently looking for a motivated candidate to join one of our partners – an International company which is searching for a:

PURCHASING SPECIALIST / BUYER

Responsibilities:
Select the suppliers of materials and services, develop the supplier base localization process and support the Group functions in scouting new suppliers and products;
Negotiate contractual terms and manage the relationships with the suppliers, in order to meet
current and future business expectations. Ensure that the plant needs are fully met in terms of price, service level and quality (lowest TCO);
Assist the Procurement Manager in the execution of the plant’s yearly saving plan and bring to completion the Cost Improvement Initiatives assigned;
Maintain short- and long-term plans for specific categories of purchasing.

Requirements:
Technical High School or University Degree in Engineering;
Fluency in English;
3+ years of experience as specialist (commodity, sourcing) within the Sourcing / Procurement department of an industrial manufacturing and / or processing global environment or in supply chain / FMCG environment;
Proficient use of modern IT ERP/MRP/WMS systems (SAP as preferable requirement);
Willing to travel frequently;
Analytical skills (including data collection, analysis and review; etc);
Continuous improvement oriented;
Cross-functional communication;
Excellent problem solving.
