The company is constantly expanding its team and at the moment, for their office in Sofia, Bulgaria, together with them, we are looking to find and hire a very responsible and experienced:


IT SOLUTION ARCHITECT


You will have the perfect opportunity to join the company's very strategic and big digital transformation project. This is critical as you must elaborate on the solution, validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives, and converge on the final solution.


The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Define consistent solution architectures across all IT layers (data, application, technology) based on technical requirements and business context.
- Align business requirements with systems/technical requirements following enterprise architectural plans.
- Provide technical consulting throughout the project lifecycle, offering expertise during pre-study, system analysis, design, build, deploy, and test phases.
- Ensure that the solution is properly documented.
- Drive evaluation of new technologies to advise Product Owner/Product owner support and/or IT Delivery Lead.
- Evaluate alternative technical solutions and support decision-making.
- Transfer knowledge, share successes and failures with the team

Key requirements for the role:

- University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Computer Science, (Software) Engineering, (Business) Informatics or related field;
- 5+ years of experience in senior technical roles - e.g., Tech Lead, Dev Team Lead, Solution or Software Architect) or other hands-on leadership role in software development;
- Professional experience in the design and development of Microservices Architecture. Experience with SOA, REST, and Web Services;
- Experience and knowledge of ITSM best practices;
- Requirements analysis, planning, and deploying IT solutions;
- Some previous experience or strong knowledge of Java and/or .NET Core, as well as with Cloud environments (AWS, MS Azure);
- Some experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kafka, and API Management tools;
- Good command of the English language (both written and verbal).

*** Any previous FinTech or InsurTech professional experience will be considered a strong advantage!
