If you have a knack for building excellent customer relationships along with creatively exploring and testing potential uses of the product, and want to be a key team member who helps ensure the usability and productivity of the product, there’s a good chance you’d be a great fit for this role!

Responsibilities:

• Directly help customers be successful with Infragistics products by answering incoming support requests through forums, chats, calls, etc. and creating samples to illustrate product usage
• Provide programming assistance to professional developers via analyzing, reproducing and troubleshooting technical issues
• Help plan and ensure useful test coverage scenarios by authoring automated integration tests and executing manual tests for product areas that you are responsible for
• Monitor failing test results, and work to resolve them
• Ensure tests run on all supported platforms
• Submit, verify and close product bugs
• Independently debug product code to more deeply understand product behavior and create solutions, workarounds, and modify existing code to resolve problems with the product
• With more senior developers, jointly own the design and creation of new features for your team’s products
• Participate in product development planning, design, and regular team meetings
• Actively work on team and personal professional development plans for ongoing improvement

Requirements:

• Formal education in computer science, software engineering, software academy graduated, or equivalent on-the-job experience
• Significant competency in .NET Framework and C# or Visual Basic, including object-oriented design principles and software quality code
• Basic knowledge of any related desktop or web .NET technology such as Windows Forms, Web Forms, Windows Presentation Foundation or ASP.NET
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Server
• Above-average competency with English, especially written
• GitHub or similar public repository with own or shared projects is a plus
• Prior experience supporting, testing, and debugging software is a plus
• A positive, can-do outlook and willingness to contribute to team and product success in all functional areas
• A drive for self and team improvement and active engagement in ongoing activities
