What we do

Advent Group, an independent media group specialised in the field of higher education, is currently collaborating with Stafford Associates a leading educational consultant, to promote distance and blended learning opportunities for Bachelor, Masters, Doctorate and MBA programs. Representing 6 top ranked UK insitutions in the Middle East, Stafford is expanding their business to the Balkan region. To help us with our expansion drive, we are looking for an Admission Advisor to establish relationships with local applicants (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia) and help them start their UK degrees.

The Job:

We are currently looking for Sales and Admission Advisor to join our team in Sofia. Working as part of an international team, you will be attracting potential applicants who are looking to improve their knowledge by enrolling on online / blended learning UK university degrees.

More specifically, your responsibilities will be:

• Generating applicants utilising incoming leads, email requests, database building, cold calling
• Assisting applicants throughout the registration process via emails and calls
• Involvement in the follow up & direct marketing of the degree programmes.
• Communicating with Stafford staff when needed
• Reporting on the marketing efforts and suggesting new ideas
• Assisting in booking hotel facilities for visiting professors and university workshops.


The Requirements:

• Fluent English language skills – verbal and written. Applicants with less than very good to excellent English do not need to apply
• A Bachelor Degree or higher, preferably abroad
• 1-3 years sales/telemarketing experience
• Self-driven personality with good project and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with customers
• Experience in an educational environment will be an advantage
