Our client is the largest industrial and commercial corporation in Greece, having a key role in the development of the energy sector in South-Eastern Europe.

In connection with the growth of the business, we are looking for:

Accountant

Main responsibilities:

Perform and ensure effective, efficient, and accurate accounting and administration of the Company’s tangible and intangible assets with respect to underlying transactions such as: purchases, disposals, reclassifications etc.
Responsible for accounting of operating expenses – rentals, maintenance, services, utilities etc;
Preparation, submission of declarations and communication with the municipalities for property taxes and garbage fees;
Prepare monthly and annual reports;
Assist in the preparation of the monthly and annual period closing;
Assist with other accounting or automation projects.

What are we looking for:

University Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics;
Minimum 3 years work experience in the Accounting Department; of
Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP ideally) would be considered an advantage;
Good understanding of accounting principles and practices;
Keen to study for a professional qualification financed by the company;
Good level of written and spoken English;
Very good analytical and organising skills;
Attention to detail;
A collaborative and team-oriented attitude;
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
