General duties:
Delivering expert legal advice on employment law matters, supporting full compliance with applicable labor regulations.
Reviewing and assessing internal policies, procedures, and governance documents to confirm alignment with legal obligations and industry best practices.
Managing interactions with regulatory bodies, addressing inquiries and maintaining clear, effective communication with relevant authorities.
Partnering with HR to uphold sound governance principles, offering legal insights on compliance initiatives and risk management strategies.
Monitoring legislative updates in labor law and employment practices to proactively guide policy development and maintain regulatory compliance.

Requirements:
Master’s degree in Law, with a focus on employment law.
Proven experience providing legal counsel on labor law, and corporate governance within the banking or financial services industry.
In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance and banking-specific legal frameworks, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for business stakeholders.
Experience advising or working closely with management bodies in a banking environment is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across all organizational levels.
Excellent analytical abilities and proactive management approach relevant to the banking sector’s legal challenges.
