Once you join our team as an Environment, Health and Safety
Specialist, you will:

Support operation of integrated management system (ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018)
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and Lufthansa Technik corporate requirements
Support internal and external EHS audits
Develop and deliver EHS training materials, provide EHS trainings for employees and sub-contractors
Communicate with internal and external parties to ensure EHS requirements are met
Analyze work processes, materials, equipment and work habits to identify safety risks and environmental effects, identifying EHS hazards, assessing relevant risks and determining controls
Record, investigate and follow up all accidents, incidents, near misses ensuring they are handled in compliance with the local laws, and ensuring the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Organize and coordinate various operational activities regarding EHS aspects
Support the smooth organization and data processing of waste management practices
Participate in corporate projects related to EHS improvement practices

To be successful in the role you need:
University degree in the field of environmental protection, industrial safety or economic studies
Familiarization with the environment, health and safety legal requirements and regulations
Understanding of EHS management systems and methods and international standards including ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, (internal auditor certifications are an advantage)
Relevant professional experience
Team spirit, sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and curiosity to new knowledge fields
Good level of English
MS Office knowledge
