Responsibilities:
Configure technical environment for Experian Decision Analytics software projects;
Responsible for the execution of internal technical test, the follow up of issues and providing resolutions during SIT and UAT;
Provide technical customisation using EDA standard components under guidelines;
Execute product installation following guidelines;
Identify basic technical risks and escalate to superior;
Responsible for Quality of Technical Build;
Software development using an object oriented development process for high performance, robust, complex, multi language, multi-platform application and library development;
Responsible for Quality and re-usability of Software hooks and bureau links (generic hooks). Also responsible for being knowledgeable about and for using or adding to the Experian Bureau Link library;
Assist Application Support team for incident and problem management;
Provide details to superior for complex issues;
Support DB performance improvement initiatives;
Support Performance Testing and benchmarking activities from a technical standpoint;
Actively seeks to share knowledge within the team.
Requirements:
Knowledge of one OS platform and of one DB platform;
Experience of software solution design and configuration;
Understanding of the capabilities of the EDA product range and ability to assist client’s in implementation and testing of new solutions;
Experience of delivering several complex technical solutions across more than one industry vertical;
Understanding and experience of the delivery lifecycle;
Understanding of systems, processes, applications and technology solutions and how they support/impact solutions;
Knowledge on some or all of the following technologies: Oracle, MS SQL, UNIX, Windows, Java, Web services, Scripting languages,TCP/IP Communications; XML and XSLT skills;
Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
Good oral and written communication skill;
Fluency in spoken and written English;
Ability to travel.
