Our current client is a global Fin-Tech leader dedicated to providing innovative, affordable and smart payment solutions which empower businesses of any types and sizes to accept payments fast and securely. On their behalf, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join their dedicated team and play a key role in building and maintaining the core part of our technologies.

Responsibilities:

- Design, construct, and manage data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
- Develop and maintain scalable and reliable data architecture to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data in a ready-to-use form for analysis and insights generation.
- Implement best practices for data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
- Optimize data workflows and processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Data Engineer, with significant exposure to cloud-based data solutions.
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
- Proficient in programming languages relevant to data engineering (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
