Senior Expert - Securities Trading


Some of your responsibilities:
Monitors and analyzes financial markets, participating in preparing and implementing the Bank's market strategies;
Ensures compliance with applicable banking regulations;
Executes transactions with securities – government bonds, corporate bonds, and stocks approved for trading by the bank within established limits;
Conducts derivative transactions related to hedging the bank's bond portfolio;
Executes transactions on behalf of and for the bank's account on foreign exchange and money markets;
Correctly monitors and applies FTP (Funding Transfer Pricing) when quoting deposits and deposit-based derivative products;

Key requirements for the role:

- 3-6 years of professional experience in a similar position;
- Ability to prepare market analyses/ research and real-time market information;
- Knowledge of various electronic trading platforms - Bloomberg and/ or Reuters;
- Good knowledge of the banking regulatory framework and regulatory requirements related to financial markets tools;
- Knowledge of financial, investment, and quantitative analysis;
- Securities broker license issued by the Financial Supervision Commission;
- License confirming the ability to do transactions with government securities, issued by the Ministry of Finance;
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken;
- Excellent command of the Bulgarian language and ability to write grammatically correct;
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance and Banking, Economics, or a similar economic-related specialty;
