We are looking for an experienced professional for the position:
Shipment Support Coordinator with French


As a Coordinator in Transportation adn Logistic Team, you will provide distribution, transportation, and logistical solutions on outbound movement of products from origin to destination. With limited supervision, you will execute order scheduling and logistics activities that support the supply chain in one or more of the following areas:

Works with moderately complex carrier operations and business transportation models, such as limited activity with multiple modes connections and inter-modal interactions;
Using comprehensive knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry, makes recommendations according to that knowledge and past experience to provide business partnership;
Provides timely communication with carrier owners and operators, terminals, and maintains daily operational contact with clients and carriers on order/shipment information;
Contacts local carriers in order to confirm availability and capacity when commodity contract is signed;
Determine the best carrier for executing certain commodity contract in accordance with the distance covered and the freight rate;
Handles and tracks claims coming from both Bus and carriers in cases of incompliance with the contracts requirements;
Contacts the sourcing team when a new lane needs to be developed. Searches proactively for new lanes needed;
Communicates with the Payment employees in order to help them resolve issues regarding payments, invoices, demurrages;


Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (a must);
Experience managing multiple priorities and tasks daily;
Good understanding of supply chain processes and business functions, focused on cost and budget controls;
Strong communication, listening and presentation skills;
