The role of the Financial Specialist Freight Audit and Billing is to:
Prioritize and close freight audit workflows
Settle transportation costs, assign them to actual logistical events
Investigate missing data with subcontractors, colleagues and clients
Create electronic records of logistical events and issue transportation invoices
Ensure the issuance of credit notes for incorrectly billed or foreign transports
Perform assigned special tasks e.g. quality assurance, month end close
Create assigned special reports e.g. credit note reports

To be successful in the role you need:
A-level/High School Diploma or equivalent
Completed commercial training or several years of relevant work experience
Good logistical know how, including knowledge of freight accounting and billing
Good IT user skills; good xls knowledge would be considered a plus;
Good knowledge of English (mandatory) and German (optional), written and spoken
Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work
High degree of problem solving and prioritization skills
Numerical and linguistic aptitude
Courteousness, adaptivity to a multi-cultural environment, commitment to team results
Resiliency towards professional pressure, willingness to work flexible hours
