The fast growing Chinese start-up Beijing Waijiao Education Technology is in search of new online teachers before the start of the busy summer season. Your job, in case you pass the interview and (paid) training course will be teaching English online to students 8 to 16 years old.
Beijing Waijiaoyi Education Technology is formed 2 years ago with an original idea of connecting the students from second, third and fourth tier cities to foreign teachers. The company has a rapid success, resulting in contracts with hundreds of schools and currently having over 400 teachers. After the latest round of investments, we are now looking for new educational stuff, with focus on European teachers.
Job Description
Deliver online lessons to students of particular grade level
Evaluate and grade students' class work and participation
Remain aware of class procedures and use of instructional materials
Provide effective feedback to guide student earning and success
●Set-up: Online Group Class (8 – 20 students)
●Student age range: 8 - 16 years old
●Teaching materials: provided by Waijiaoyi Education
●Class length: 2 x 25 minutes or 50mins
●Working Schedule: (Beijing Time)
Job Requirements
Good command of the English language
Positive and energetic attitude
Love working with kids and teenagers
Teaching Experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Weekly Working Hours
10-20 hours
Hourly Rate
8$--12$ based on teachers previous experience and English proficiency level
Paid training course (4 hours)
Other Benefits
●1 KPI - Monthly Performance
If the teacher gets 85% score out of 100 on his/her monthly evaluation, he/she is entitled to KPI bonus which is 5% of his/her monthly salary.
●Basic Rate Increment
Once a teacher reached 500 teaching hours, hourly rate will increase by $1.
●Payout: Monthly; every 10th on your bank account or Paypal
