PMO Project Manager

Our client is a global design, engineering and manufacturing company that sells product solutions into the white goods industry and leverages this portfolio and technology into adjacent markets and after sales channels. For them, we are looking for a motivated professional to join their team as:

PMO Project Manager

Responsibilities:
Manage the project for timeline, resource, financial deliverables and operational deliverables;
Conduct baseline planning by analyzing the operations value chain across customer and internal stakeholders;
Develops and maintains detailed project plans. Ensure metrics are managed and aligned with business objectives;
Continually assess project risks and actively prepare multi-level mitigation plans;
Lead cross functional, multi sites teams in execution of the project plans. Document action items and hold the team accountable for executing to plan;
Present project status in Executive PMO reviews, highlighting key accomplishments, future actions, and risk mitigation plans;
Coordinate with Corporate Finance and Global PMO to manage project budgets;
Identifies key stakeholders and organizes communication plans, team meetings, and project reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Operations; MBA is a big advantage;
2+ yrs. launching and/or transitioning manufacturing operations;
3+ yrs. in a manufacturing supervisory role;
3+ yrs. combined experience in at least two of the following areas (Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality);
Experience with manufacturing footprint transitions/consolidations: from partial to full plant transfers;
Demonstrated experience managing remote teams;
Experience with a multi-national engineering and manufacturing company;
Ability to travel 50% and during key aspects of the project up to 75%;
Excellent command of English language is a must. Any other language is a big advantage;
Strong project finance and budgeting skills: experience with Product Costing and Margin Analysis;
Proficient with MS Office and MS Project;
Deep understanding of ERP systems as pertains to operations management.
