Position Title: Product Consultant - Originations solutions
(Maternity cover)

Overview:

You will provide product specialist consultancy on functional elements of Experian solutions growing over time into the wider DA product set. Consultancy will focus on Originations solutions. As a Product Consultant you will lead and drive the design and definition of the functional solution on complex / major projects for both external and internal clients.
You will need previous experience of working on complex business application implementation projects where you took a lead role (where analysis and specification writing formed part of your responsibilities), have strong client facing skills and have a good level of appreciation of technologies involved. You must also have the ability to use your initiative and demonstrate a high level of ownership of responsibilities. Projects are undertaken globally and you will need to be prepared to travel internationally for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities:
Create and present proposals for complex solutions, including recommendations and benefits based on best practice use of PowerCurve Platform
Be the solution design authority for the solution meeting the business and technical needs of the client by performing consultancy and business analysis against client requirements.
Lead Design Workshops and Business Requirements Definition and Creation through to sign off.
Provide expert product and delivery advice and support throughout delivery cycle, resolve issues/provides insight and direction in deliveries.
Provide Close Support for clients and Experian Project Management throughout delivery lifecycle.
Best practice definition, Improvements suggestions, tactical innovations and reuse
Be part of strategic projects such as early adopters projects, demo systems build, global solutions, pre-sales support.
Operational readiness: prepare the operational readiness of the regions and central teams to adopt new products
Work with internal teams (DA regional delivery, Product Management /Development) within a virtual team environment plus working with external customers (Credit Reference Agencies, Banks, Telcos etc)
Knowledge transfer through training and mentoring.
In addition you may be required to assist in the completion of RFPs / ITTs / RFIs and support the pre-sales process with SME presentations and software demonstrations.
Help in the Sales Process providing Product Demonstrations, Solution Based Presentations and additional Solution Expertise.
Conduct consultancy projects to time and budget to ensure that the client make best use of the product, either directly or by giving direction to sales/account managers.
Provide comprehensive consulting services utilising best practice use of the PowerCurve Suite to ensure client retention
Regularly present to clients to ensure they understand the functionality and benefits of EDA products in solving business / technical issues.
Promote new and creative ideas which satisfy clients, but maintain the discipline needed to ensure that solutions are implemented on time and to budget.
Production of high quality deliverables for internal and external consumption.
Requirements:
Extensive product/consultancy experience gained from experience of complex software implementations to external clients
Consulting skills – requirements analysis, design
Ideally advanced experience of Originations/Customer Management solutions particularly PowerCurve
Product knowledge - understanding of functionality and configuration of the product to meet technical requirements; capable of identifying improvements to the product and proposing enhancement to address these
Up-to date industry knowledge (market sectors, competitive landscape, solutions and business requirements)
Confidence at dealing with clients at senior level Excellent presentation and analytical skills
Good appreciation of modern software technologies and MI tools
Excellent PC skills, especially in Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel Ability to build and maintain solid long term relationships
Excellent organisational and time management skills Commercially astute with excellent acumen
Understanding of EDA products family capabilities, specific limitations, functions so that consultant can apply the product
Effective communication and presentation of propositions and solutions Active listening and effective questioning skills
Experience of working on ITTs / RFIs / RFPs
