SAP HANA Database Administrator
Our client is an IT services and solutions provider, primary engaged with Implementation and Maintenance of SAP and other business information systems, IT Infrastructure services, Information Security solutions, Business development and Project Management. They are working on projects around the world: almost all countries in Europa, Middle East, USA and
Africa.

We are looking for SAP Hana Database Administrator:


Responsibilities:
- Message processing
- Technical Incident Management / Problem Management / Root Cause Analysis
- Change Management
- Installation, patching and upgrades
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery Setup
- Performance Monitoring / Tuning / Backup, Restore and Recovery
- Implementation of technical projects
- Know-how transfer within team
- Participation in workshops and training (if necessary)

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Successfully completed studies (e.g. Business Informatics, Computer Science)
- Expert knowledge of common database architectures
- 3+ years of professional experience in supporting databases
- 3+ years of professional experience and expertise in the administration of SAP HANA and SAP ASE
- Ideally, knowledge of other Databases, e.g. Sybase IQ, Sybase Replication Server, MaxDB, Oracle or DB6
- Expertise in debugging and analyzing complex database problems
- Sound knowledge in the programming language SQL and Python
- Expert knowledge in dealing with Linux
- Experience in the SAP environment
- Very good spoken and written English
- Willingness for weekend and on call work
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn and apply new technologies
- Outstanding analytical skills, technical affinity and customer focus
