Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be leading the Finance division of the store and be responsible and accountable for:
Identifying and evaluating business opportunities to enable the IKEA store to make optimum decisions
Securing the legal and fiscal compliance of the store operations concerning bookkeeping and accounting
Supporting all store functions to improve their performance – preparing ad-hoc reports and business analysis, supporting and coordinating the forecast and budget process
Preparing and Supervising the Annual Store Budget
Preparing and Supervising the Budget revisions twice per year
Preparing, following up, and validating the Store's monthly P&L statements
Monitoring & following up all operating costs & P&L elements of the store
Securing that the store follows the financial routines so that the management, business steering, and follow-up processes of all departments in the store are efficient
Ensuring that all managers with budget responsibility are trained in understanding and monitoring financial reports to be able to carry out their responsibilities
Negotiating and renewing in cooperation with the country manager store-related contracts
