The Global Engineering and Network team is responsible for the design and provisioning of Telus International’s infrastructure and virtual services.

The team works closely with Global Support, Local IT Help Desk, Transition and Transformation and Procurement teams to ensure the efficient, cost-effective delivery of high-quality services to both internal and external customers.

Your responsibilities:

Implementation, test and Standard changes for voice solutions
Incident Management responsibilities as part of the voice solution group
Planning of standard VOIP solutions
Technical approval of Changes and Requests for Voice related services
Technical point of contact from Global perspective for Bulgarian site
Pro-active diagnoses and fix of technical issues arising during development of new technologies affecting HW and SW phones, DC equipment and traffic routing
Pro-active escalation, follow-through and liaison with appropriate departments to resolve basic technical issues which may impact TI’s infrastructure
Applies ITIL methodology to the role and follows best practice standards and processes
Adheres to Telus International security policies and report incidents to the appropriate operations functions
Assists in the Continual Process Improvement (CPI) program as needed
Work on assigned projects as directed by senior management

Our requirements:

2 years of experience in deploying, configuring, managing VOIP services (Avaya, Cisco)
Extended understanding of VOIP services and infrastructure, good understanding of network and routing
Very good knowledge of telecom and hosting industry and understanding of standards
Excellent English language skills
Good technical knowledge and understanding of best practice standards and the practical implementation of processes to ensure repeatable quality work.

Calm and productive under pressure
