Our client is a publicly traded company providing an online trading platform for financial services offered to different customers worldwide.Responsibilities:
• Ensuring marketing and client communication comply with global regulatory requirements
• Assessing and reporting compliance incidents and breaches
• Supporting the companies' data protection compliance function
• Ensuring all aspects of the companies' Regional Compliance programs are implemented and reinforced
• Supporting business with post-policy implementation, compliance advice, and projects
• Working closely with Compliance and Business partners globally to support the wider Compliance objectives
• Analyzing key Management Information data to identify trends and making recommendations as to any follow-up work required
• Ensuring the appropriate escalation of compliance weaknesses to line management
Requirements:
• 2+ years of Compliance and leadership experience
• At least 1 year experience working with data protection laws, specifically GDPR
• Understanding of FCA and ESMA rules, MiFID II regulatory requirements and other relevant regulations or industry standards
• Highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-performance expectations environment
• Analytical candidate with the capability to evaluate business objectives in line with regulatory requirements and come up with effective solutions
• Fluency in English
• Possess strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines without direct supervision
