They invest in the areas of Large Scale Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Energy Storage, IT & Digitalization.

Our client takes into account its overall impact socially, economically, and environmentally, and launches initiatives to ensure its positive impact. They run annual children’s contest on the topic of sustainability and green innovation, whereas students in high-school have to submit a project proposal for financing. All finalists receive scholarships, and the winner receives BGN 5,000 financing for their project proposal. Our client also works in collaboration with Tuk-Tam NGO, and for two years now, awards students with scholarships for a Master’s degree in sustainability. The company is also a member of the Golden Circle of Teddy Bear NGO, which aims to provide financial and mentoring support to children from unprivileged backgrounds field.

We are currently looking for a motivated and responsible professional for the role of

COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Main Responsibilities:
Conduct independently initial and ongoing Due Diligence reviews
Maintain KYC/AML files of the Group companies
Update and maintain in good standing from a legal point of view the corporate records of the Group companies
Maintain the internal register of shareholders within the Group up-to-date
Collaborate with all departments to ensure the relevant legal documentation is in place
Address different types of compliance queries (recurring and ad-hoc) from internal and external stakeholders
Create compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions
Survey the compliance and AML/CTF framework for Group’s business activity in multiple jurisdictions
Qualifications & Skills:
University degree (preferably in Law)
At least 2+ years of relevant work experience
Excellent (fluent) knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
Very good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
High work ethics and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Ability to work and communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of individuals within a wide range of cultural environments
Ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced and dynamic environment
Outstanding analytical, prioritizing, problem-solving and planning skills
Attention to detail and perseverance
