JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER (with GERMAN LANGUAGE)
Your responsibilities:
As part of a cross-functional Agile team, following the company's architectural guidelines and code standards, you will develop new features and components for an insurance platform. You will be responsible for designing, coding, unit tests, and integrating relatively complex or large projects. You will also be able to make peer code reviews and help testers as needed to determine system problems.
Professional requirements and competencies:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development;
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or similar IT specialty;
- Good knowledge of Java Quarkus and at least basic knowledge/experience with Go;
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript;
- Knowledge of development and operations of Microservices-based architecture, including AWS serverless components;
- Experience in building CI/CD Pipelines with Terraform Enterprise in AWS;
- Strong knowledge of German language (B2+ level) and working level of English.
We'll consider a strong advantage if you also have:
- Experience in working with the backstage.io Service Catalog Platform
