Clinical Research Specialist

The Clinical Research Specialist has the primary responsibility for developing and managing the day-to-day relationship with sites (hospitals, medical centres, etc.) located all over the globe, participating in clinical trials. They are responsible for collecting, compiling, documenting, supporting and analysing clinical research data. They ensure the sites are working on the clinical studies in accordance with protocol, standard operating procedures, good clinical practice, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Role responsibilities:
• Daily interact with sites over phone and email and participate in all site activities from study start-up through study close-out
• Manage and track clinical study progress, observational processes and the overall quality of the deliverables
• Recognize, document and escalate site questions or issues, and follow through to resolution
• Accurately document and track all communication (email, voice, fax, call reports) with the study site personnel
• Provides support to the site personnel electronic systems and applications

Job requirements:
• Fluency in both German and English
• Willingness to learn and obtain new skills and competencies
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Availability to work on shifts
• Pro-activeness and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a health care/other scientific discipline or equivalent work experience will be considered a plus
