Rare Diseases Key Account Manager

• Job purpose: Within the framework of the company’s global business strategy maximizes the business profitability from a specific group of company’s customers (key accounts), identifies and establishes new key account relations, thus supporting the execution of the annual sales plan.

• Reports to: MS Head

• Direct reports: none

• Location: Field - mostly Sofia

• Main activities:
• Achieves sales objectives for assigned area and key accounts for Multiple Sclerosis
- Develops implements and adapts the business/marketing strategies for managing the company’s product portfolio within the assigned county area and costumers and in accordance with country and EMEA strategy
- Tracks and forecasts competitor’s activities on the assigned costumers level and propose respective anticipating and reacting actions from the company.
- Manages the relationships with the assigned specific group of customers and key stakeholders (physicians, regional authorities, expert centers) within the assigned county area in alignment with the country and EMEA business strategy, company mission, values and product portfolio strategy.
- Manages each account by acquiring specific information about the history of the account, tracking and improving his disease and product awareness, identifying and building regional networks of KOLs and expert centers.
- Identify and implement innovative initiatives and projects for increasing MS awareness among physicians and public within the assigned county area
- Successfully “sell” company’s culture of innovation, entrepreneurism and patient centricity to key stakeholders within the assigned county area.
- Provides regular feedback to company’s MS head and regarding sales performance, operations, and business climate and competitor activities.
- Utilizes and controls the assigned budget, regarding the efficient execution of the accounts management strategy and excepted revenue.

• Key deliverables:
- Achieve objectives (demand in units, value, MS) for determined products in the designated teritorry
- Identify new MS patients within area
- Effectively manage the assigned territory by means of planning (territory KPIs, analysis, record keeping, resource allocation, call planning, etc.).
- Report regularly to management product & market status through submission of field intelligence and activity report.
- Report adverse drug reaction in accordance with the requirements of the company quality system.

- Performance objectives (demand in units, patients identification activities, value, share of market...)
- Sales force effectiveness KPIs (frequency, number of calls per day)
- Execution of promotional activities (workshops, educational meetings etc) vs agreed plan
- Regular and accurate reporting in line with defined standards

o Education:
• Bachelor degree in Life Science
• Medical doctor or Pharmacist degree is a plus

o Experience & knowledge:
• At least 3 - 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry as a senior medical representative;
• Strong KAM experience for at least 2 years
• Industry/market and service knowledge about the customers; English language; PC, driving license
