Lufthansa Technik Sofia specializing in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of the Airbus A320 family and the Boeing 737 series, since 2007.Nowadays more than 1400 highly qualified employees are dedicated in MRO, supply chain and procurement services to airlines worldwide.
Come and join our Continuous Improvement team, where we drive innovation, process improvement and strategic development across the site. From implementing OPS to enabling alignment and continuous improvement, we support operational excellence, business growth, and knowledge sharing.
When you join our team, you will:
Lead and support strategic, network-wide transformation projects with a strong operational focus.
Develop and implement initiatives domestically and internationally, guiding interdisciplinary teams of internal experts, cross-segment members, consultants, and specialists in an agile environment.
Identify optimization opportunities, develop best practices, and deliver projects with segment and business unit management.
Select, adapt, and advance relevant project methods and tools.
Coach project managers across business units.
Develop facilitators and training modules and deliver OpEx training.
Define process and performance metrics, ensure management reporting, and embed measures sustainably within the department.
Participate in or lead special projects.
You match our need, if you have:
Degree in industrial engineering, engineering, business informatics, business administration, or equivalent qualifications
At least three years of experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, project and change management
Proven ability to develop and lead projects, structure workflows, and optimize processes using methods such as DMAIC
Strong negotiation, facilitation, communication, presentation, analytical, and conceptual skills across all organizational levels
Experienced in advising executives and employees and applying Lean and process optimization methods
Proactive and solution oriented mindset with high level of customer and service orientation
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%); complete further training, and undergo a psychological aptitude test if required
